The Embracing Possibility exhibition at Macon’s Tubman African American Museum concluded in June 2026, leaving a record of disability history, creativity, and the work of building more inclusive communities.
During the exhibition’s final weeks, Susan Earle and Tom Kohler led a public reading of Waddie Welcome & the Beloved Community. The June 14 invitation offered an afternoon to reflect on friendship and belonging through Waddie Welcome’s story.
